How To Download Attachments in Google Drive

With today's update to Gmail, you can skip that whole process. Instead, you can view attachments and save files directly to Google Drive without ever leaving Gmail, making it easy to access them later from whatever device you’re on—computer, phone or tablet.

On a perfect Sunday afternoon in October, almost three dozen NU alumni and friends gathered at the Loudoun Valley Vineyard in Waterford, Va., for our annual wine tasting. This gathering marked the 20th anniversary of this fall tradition, and we were thrilled to have representation from classes ranging from 1962 to 2005. We were also pleased to be joined by Diane Scolaro, Assistant Vice President for Alumni and Volunteer Relations. The winery was able to provide the tasting exclusively for us on the deck overlooking the beautiful Hillsboro Valley. Great wine! Great day! Great people!

Set expiration dates for access to Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides files

We know that businesses today don’t operate in isolation; employees work not only with one another, but with third-party vendors, clients, customers, and other businesses as well—and often on a temporary basis. To keep your organization’s information safe in these situations, we’re introducing the ability to set an “expiration date” for specific user access to files in Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. For instance, imagine your business hires an outside contractor for a project lasting three months.
